SANpulse Appoints Carl Elliott as a General Manager Europe to Support Continues Global Expansion
Jersey City, NJ September 25, 2009 - SANpulse Technologies, a provider of SAN migration and optimization solutions through its pioneering SANlogics Software Platform, today announced the expansion of its global operations and the appointment of Carl Elliott as General Manager Europe. To support the company’s European expansion, Elliott will be responsible for developing business strategy, ensuring successful solution delivery, growing the existing customer base, and building new partnerships.
Elliott has over two decades of experience in the storage industry. He combines hands on storage operations management experience, strong technical expertise and significant business relationships within the storage community to help SANpulse grow across the region. In his previous role as a Business Development Manager, Elliott identified and managed key strategic partnerships across the region. In this short time, Elliott has helped formulate partnerships with leading OEMs and VARs and now continues business development expansion across additional geographies.

Elliott has a long history of adding value for companies in the EMEA region. Prior to joining SANpulse Elliott set up and developed the Global Professional Services at COPAN systems and grew this partner-generated revenue stream to over 5% of overall business. Prior to that he was Operations Director for a leading independent storage consultancy helping large enterprise clients to define and execute their global storage strategies, with an emphasis on cost effective acquisition, transformation and management. Elliott also worked at EMC where he built the Professional Services organization across EMEA, developed a partner services function, built vertical market propositions and also led a European wide consulting initiative with Accenture. In his last role at EMC Elliott was responsible for all pre and post sales personnel with over 200 staff, and built the services revenue to over $45M.
